The Yale Courant reports that it has been found by actual count that of the students assigned to four divisions according to scholarship, 25 per cent of the highest grade use tobacco, 48 per cent of the second, 70 per cent of the third, and 85 per cent of the fourth. The majority of the students at Cornell have, it is said, resolved to give up smoking on the ground of its bad effect upon the health and capacity for study.
