The National Rifle Association of America have decided to have an inter-collegiate match during the Creedmore fall meeting next September, and cup, medal or appropriate pendant will be awarded to the winning college team. The match is open to teams of four or six, and the college championship prize will be awarded to the team making the best average score, at one hundred, two hundred and three hundred yards, off-hand. Columbia has already entered a team, and the matter is being agitated at Yale and Princeton, and both will probably compete. There is no reason why Harvard should not be represented, as there surely are enough men in college who with reasonable practice would represent the college with honor and perhaps success. The HERALD will be glad to answer all inquiries in regard to the matter.
