A complimentary dinner was given to the Yale freshmen Saturday evening at the Parker House. Numerous speeches and toasts were given and both nines were heartily cheered. About one hundred were present.

The dates assigned for the various college regattas are : For the Childs Challenge Cup, between the four-oared crews of Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania, June 23; four-mile race between the eight-oared crews of Harvard and Columbia at New London, Saturday, June 24; annual Harvard-Yale race at New London, Friday, June 30; the Lake George race between Cornell, Bowdoin, Wesleyan, Princeton and probably the University of Pennsylvania, Tuesday, July 4.
