The Yale News, in commenting on the chances of their nine in the race for the championship, evidently considers Harvard out of the fight. "Brown and Princeton," says the News, "have played in six and five games respectively and lead our nine in victories, with the same number of defeats." The News evidently considers Brown her most formidable rival. At present, counting the games lost by each team, Harvard, Yale and Brown are tied for first place. Brown leads in games won, but she has played more games than any other college. As the News remarks, however, it is impossible to prophesy the final result from the games already played.
