The great success of Professor Paine's piano recital last Friday evening, as evidenced by the large audience present and the enthusiastic applause received by him, shows how advantageous it would be for all if the succeeding recitals could be held in Sanders Theatre. Boylston Hall is small and uncomfortable, besides being ill-ventilated and badly lighted, and the crowd in attendance completely packed this auditorium to overflowing. The next recital will undoubtedly bring out more people than before, since every one now appreciates more fully the delightful entertainment provided. The popularity of the recitals is a conclusive tribute to Professor Paine's abilities as a musician and performer, and we hope that upon the next occasion he may be induced to favor us in Sanders Theatre.
