The following is the official announcement of the approaching spring meetings of the Harvard Athletic Association: Monday, May 15, at 4 P. M., '83 and '85. Tuesday, May 16, 4 P. M., '82 and 84. Championship meeting, May 20, at 2 P. M.
EVENTS: 100 yards dash, 220 yards dash, 1/4 mile run, 1/2 mile run, 1 mile run, 1 mile walk, running high jump, running broad jump, 120 yards hurdles, putting the shot, throwing the hammer, pole vault, bicycle.
Contestants in the championship meeting to be winners in the class meetings; or men beating the record of any class winner. Only the four winners of class sports will be entered in the final meeting, unless a man personally enters again. In the class meetings two prizes will be offered, - a silver medal to first, a bronze to second man. In the championship meeting a gold medal to first. A gold best-on-record medal will be given to the man beating the best college record. The Bicycle Club offer a prize for the bicycle race. Entries close Friday, May 12, at 6. P. M., at 14 Holworthy.
