FACT AND RUMOR.

"A College Series of Latin Authors" edited by Prof. C. L. Smith of Harvard, and Prof. Tracy Peck of Yale is being issued by Ginn and Heath.

The freshman nine left the square in the barge "Mary Bennett" yesterday afternoon at about 5 o'clock. They were given nine rousing cheers as a send-off by the crowd collected there.

Students at Cambridge University are not allowed to row on the river unless they present certificates of ability to swim from their parents or from the "University Swimming Club."

The faculty of Trinity College yesterday decided to remove the bar of suspension against the thirteen seniors suspended last month for hazing three sophomores. The suspended students will return on the 6th of June, and will have time to prepare for their graduation the latter part of the month.

At a meeting of the Pi Eta Society last evening the following officers were elected for the ensuing half year: President, Mr. Burch; vice-president, Mr. Heilbron; secretary, Mr. Clark; treasurer, Mr. Damon; stage manager, Mr. Lord; chorister, Mr. Wigmore; caterer, Ranlett; artist, Mr. Jack. It was voted that no dramatic entertainment be given in May.
