The president and two professors of the University of Minnesota have been arrested for assault upon a student named Asa Paine. In company with a party of students upon a lark Paine was pursued by the defendants, and being closely pressed drew his revolver upon them. Whereupon Prof. Pike drew another and fired upon Paine, the ball taking effect in the thigh.
