As announced in the HERALD a few days ago, but few seniors have handed in their class lives. This same trouble occurs every year, although it is impossible to see any good reason for it. Why any man should object to the little trouble it may give him to lighten the labor of the class secretary in this matter, is something that passes all understanding. There can be no fear of publicity, as these lives are shown to no one. It certainly can require but little time and labor, as no elaborate work is expected or desired.
We can easily understand how, amidst the pressure of senior work, a man is tempted to put off a thing which seems to him of such little importance. But even if he does not believe in the utility of class lives he must remember that it is one of the customs of the college, and takes but a small sacrifice of personal feeling to follow it.
We hope that the members of the class of '82 will recognize the amount of work which falls upon the class secretary and will endeavor to lighten this part of it at least.
