Col. Walker's lecture this evening upon "American Manufactures and Agriculture" is upon a subject important to every one. Col. Walker has had the control of the census of 1880, which has been the most complete and comprehensive census ever taken of this country, and perhaps of any country in the world. He will probably present some facts and figures which have not yet appeared in the regular report. The lecture will be of especial interest to students of political economy.
