A meeting of the Harvard Temperance Association was held last evening. Letters were read from Professors Palmer, James and Lanman, also from Dr. McKenzie and Mr. Graham, who is connected with the Church of England Temperance Society. The remaining articles of the constitution were adopted. It was decided that the name of the society should be the "Harvard Total Abstinence League." Messrs. Birtwell, '82, Hodges, '83, and Bierwirth, '84, were appointed as a temporary board of officers to receive signatures to the constitution and to call a future meeting.
