The Nation says in regard to the proposed subscription fund for the family of the late Professor Ko Kun Hua: "The incident of Mr. Ko's death and burial, with every token of sympathy and respect on the part of his colleagues, must already have had a humanizing effect on those who merely read of it in the public prints. We cannot doubt that there are many who will gladly embrace the opportunity offered, by subscriptions to the fund, to show not only a common compassion for the unfortunate, but a superiority to race prejudices. Money may be sent to President C. W. Eliot, Cambridge, Mass."
