Much complaint has been made recently concerning the loss of various articles in the gymnasium. It seems that the moment anything is found it is thrown among the unclaimed articles down stairs, where any one can help himself to what he pleases. In this way an article lost by one man in the morning may be appropriated by another in the afternoon. This unnecessary disappearance of property might be remedied, we think, if a list of the articles lost were posted on the gymnasium bulletin and the articles themselves were not consigned to the "olla podrida" of shoes, slippers, jerseys, etc., for some definite period, say a week or ten days.
