A petition is being circulated by those who take Philosophy I. to have the examination postponed until after the mid-years. Simple justice requires that the petition should be granted. The examination ought to have taken place last Thursday, but for some unknown reason the instructor failed to make his appearance, and it was announced that the examination would take place next Tuesday or Wednesday. The unfairness of interposing another examination in a week that is so hard as the last week of the semis is so obvious, that it does not seem necessary to do more than merely call the attention of the faculty to it. We feel sure that they will recognize the justice of the petition, and grant it immediately.
