The salaries offered the new professors of the University of Texas range from $4,000 (to the occupant of two chairs) down to $2,500.

C. H. Atkinson, '85, will be master of hounds in the hare and hounds run today. The hunt will be a "slow hunt," and the course will be between six and seven miles. Start at 3.15 in front of Matthews.

The freshman examinations will probably be held as follows: Dec. 15th, Physics; 16th, German and French; 18th, Geometry; 20th, Greek; 22d, Latin. There will be no recitations after the 13th.

Mr. L. J. Bridgman, '81, who was formerly an editor of the Lampoon and who has been pursuing art studies in Europe for the past year, has a number of works now on exhibition at the rooms of Williams & Everett, Boston.
