EDITORS HARVARD HERALD: Every member of the geology section who rises to the dignity of student and gentleman will admit that the instruction given there is of the first order, of great interest, well presented, and that it deserves the respectful attention of all. In view of the above facts no one of refinement or delicacy of feeling could have witnessed the rude and very ungentlemanly conduct of certain members of the section Friday without visiting upon it the severest condemnation. I trust that a little of that sense of right which is, presumably, directed against a rival eleven, will exert itself actively in discouraging a repetition of the present instance.
