The first of a series of Harvard assemblies was held at Papanti's Hall on Thursday evening. The leading managers are Messrs. Russell S. Codman and R. D. Sears. The assemblies are very exclusive and among the elegant parties of the season, being given by the senior class at Harvard College. The first party was a brilliant success and was fully attended by the many friends of the students, who are particularly to be congratulated upon the successful manner in which the parties are conducted, securing the most charming reunions and delightful evenings devoted to dancing exclusively. The next party occurs directly after the holidays. - [Post.
