Yale treats the teams of other colleges exactly as she treats her own scrub teams, and after the manner that she is willing that she should be treated in return. Whether the Yale men treat each other and expect to be treated in return as gentlemen, or not, is a question upon which opinions seem to differ. Harvard thinks not, decidedly, but, on the other hand, believes that there are certain relations between gentlemen which should never be forgotten, even on the foot-ball field. Columbia has hitherto taken Harvard's side of the question, and we hope she will still continue to do so, though if she tried Yale's plan there might be more individual funerals on her part with fewer team observances of the same description.
