The failure of the freshmen Saturday to defeat Andover should not lead to discouragement on their part, nor induce them to despair of victory over Yale. Yale's eleven, it should be remembered, has always the advantages of several weeks more of practice than our own, and consequently more is to be expected of them at this early date. Two weeks of assiduous practice may work an entire change in the prospects of our team. Only persistent and constant effort is necessary. The honor of victory would be sufficiently high to repay all the pains the eleven may take.
