Signor Salvini begins his Boston engagement at the Globe Theatre, Nov. 13. He will appear only four times and will present "The Gladiator," "Othello," and "The Outlaw," better known as "Morte Civile."

The last excursion of the season in Natural History 4 will take place today. Prof. Shaler and members of the elective will meet at the Old Colony Depot, Boston, and will take the 1.10 P. M. train for Wollaston Heights. The party will then walk to Squantum Point. It is expected that the entire walk of the afternoon will not exceed eight miles and a half. The party will arrive in Boston on the return between 5.30 and 6. The doors of the dining room at Memorial will be open till 6.45 P. M. for the benefit of those who go on the excursion.

Dr. Sargent has been engaged in fitting up a gymnasium at Wellesley, much after the plan of our own. A complete set of apparatus has been introduced and examinations such as ours instituted. The direction of the gymnasium is in the hands of Miss L. E. Hill, who has studied under Dr. Sargent.
