The text of the most important additions and amendments to the foot-ball rules adopted at the recent convention in New York is as follows: "The referee shall call the game when he considers it too dark to continue play. Four touch-downs shall take precedence over a goal kicked from the field. The decision of whether a side has made five or lost ten yards shall be left to the discretion of the referee. The referee shall disqualify a player whom he has twice warned for violation of the rule relating to tripping and foul tackling."
