The Brunonian thus comments on Prof. White's new method of instruction in Greek poetry: "The novelty of the plan thus proposed will doubtless have the effect of securing the interest of the classes. It certainly has the merit of allowing the widest range of freedom to the student and at the same time of demanding results which could only be attained through a thorough knowledge of the text. We would be glad to hear of the success of the experiment."
