Notices have been posted up urging all who have played base-ball to present themselves daily on Jarvis Field at 3 P.M. as candidates for the University Nine. Every moment should be appropriated to bring out the strong points of all candidates so that at the opening of the spring all the time till the beginning of the inter-collegiate games may be devoted to training the nine and their substitutes. What we accomplish this fall will be so much material gain for the spring work on Jarvis field.
