The Record thinks the Yale foot-ball team "now promises to be one of the best that Yale has ever put on the field. The rushers are a little lighter than last year's, but what they have lost in weight they have gained in activity. So far the line has been invulnerable - the quarter-back never being interfered with, we believe, in a game - although it is true that we have played only light teams. The half-backs are doing more kicking than they did last year, and show a decided improvement in this point. The passing is not quite as good as it should be, although it has been occasionally very brilliant. The men work together unusually well, and they play a very effective and careful game."
