It is a matter of general congratulation for the whole college that at length the long-vexed question of superiority between the Crimson and Advocate is in a fair way of being settled. No more decisive way of putting at rest all disputes between the two papers could have been devised than the present one of a scratch race. The HERALD in advance tenders its sympathy and condolence to the defeated party. Long may the victor wave.
