There is an opportunity for any who are so disposed to aid the higher education of women by becoming responsible for annual scholarships in the Harvard Annex. As the number of students increases there is a corresponding increase of applicants for scholarships. The institution has no endowments for this or any other purpose. Some one who has plenty of money might do much good to others and honor to himself by endowing the annex, and thus establishing the highest education of women on a firm basis. The institution was incorporated last summer as "The Society for the Collegiate Instruction of Women," and has a charter broad enough for all present purposes. - [Transcript.
