SOCIETIES OPEN TO FRESHMEN.EDITORS HARVARD HERALD: Will you please have the kindness to tell, through the columns of the HERALD, what societies, clubs, associations, etc., are open to freshmen; what the fees are for joining such societies; and what benefits we will gain or lose by joining or not joining any or all of them; also, whether the societies are literary, athletic or something else. By so doing you will greatly oblige at least one member of '86.
