BOSTON THEATRE. - 8 P. M., Matinee Saturday at 2. To-night, and to-morrow's Matinee, will be the last performances of Mr. Jefferson in the ever popular "Rip Van Winkle." His two weeks here have been, as usual, very successful. The interest, of course, centres in him. The minor parts, notably Gretchen, are not so well taken as they should be. Saturday night, Joseph Proctor as the Jibbenainosay, with Miss Annie Proctor as Tellie Doe. Monday, the Ideal Opera Company will give Gilbert and Sullivan's "Sorcerer," which is well worth hearing. Later, "The Prince of Palermo," an adaptation of Suppe's "Boccaccio," is promised by the same company.
BOSTON MUSEUM. - 7. 45 P. M., Matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2. Mr. J. B. Polk appears as Christopher Columbus Gall. in "A Gentleman from Nevada," for the last times, to-night and to-morrow afternoon. To-morrow night, benefit of Miss Clarke in "The School for Scandal." Monday next, "Our Boarding-House."
GAIETY THEATRE. - 8 P. M., Matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2. To-night and to-morrow, last performances of the "Tragedians of Kalamazoo," in "School Days," which has some amusing things in it, but does not, on the whole, amount to much. On Monday, Gus Williams, in "Our German Senator."
GLOBE THEATRE. - 8 P. M., Matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2. To-night. Miss Neilson appears again as Imogen, in "Cymbeline." To-morrow after-noon, as Rosalind - a charming impersonation - in "As You Like It," and to-morrow night (when the performance begins at 7.30), as Isabella, in "Measure for Measure," which, until this week, has not been played in this country for many years. These are positively the last opportunities that we shall have of seeing Miss Neilson. Monday, "The Pirates of Penzance," by D'Oyley Carte's Company, again. May 10, French Opera Bouffe.
PARK THEATRE - 7.45 P. M., Matinee Saturday at 1.45. The New York Union Square Company is having a great and well-deserved success in the "Banker's Daughter," which will be continued until further notice. "French Flats," the "Danicheffs," and "A False Friend," are promised during the five weeks that remain of the engagement of this excellent company.
UNION HALL, 18 Boylston St. To-night, at 8, to-morrow, at 2. Last night, "Ivanhoe" was presented with great success as the first of the three performances by '82 in aid of the Boat Club. It will be repeated to-morrow. To-night, "Der Freischutz" will be given. Nothing could be better done and more thoroughly amusing than both of these pieces; both acting and singing (especially in "Freischutz") are very remarkable.
HAWTHORNE ROOMS, 2 Park Street. Mr. Riddle gives three more of his charming readings: to-morrow; Wednesday, 28th; and Saturday, May 1, at 3 o'clock.
