WE heartily agree with the Advocate's suggestion that the Senior class have a supper before Commencement. It has been much regretted by some men that the class did not meet in this way during the Sophomore year; but there is yet time to atone for this mistake, and we hope that every effort will be made to improve this last opportunity which the class will have of "getting together their knees under one piece of mahogany." We see no reason why the expenses of the supper should not be paid from the Class Fund, thereby allowing all to reap the benefit of this fund for once at least. In this way the presence of every man would be insured; and if those members of the class who would then be in strict training for the race should deem it advisable to stay away from all suppers, the entertainment might take place somewhat earlier in the day, and be called a breakfast. The best time for the event is directly after Class Day, when the hardest student will have no excuse for staying away. We hope that no member of the class of '80 will be indifferent to this plan.
