IT is so often that we have something to find fault with that it is a pleasant change when there is anything to praise. A short time since the Professor of Rhetoric announced his intention of lowering the marks given at the anticipatory examination in this subject. At that time we felt obliged to protest against this reduction as unjust, and so now we are happy to say that the professor has reconsidered his intention; and not only this, but has announced that it is in consequence of what was said in the College papers. We are glad to see that one of our instructors, at least, pays some attention to our wishes as expressed in the papers, and we thank him heartily for his consideration.
