The Nine were unable to get on to Andrews's pitching for the first four innings, and as Amherst was equally unable to hit Ernst, the result was o to o in four innings. In the fifth inning our men began to bat, and had scored three runs in the sixth, when time was called to enable the Amherst men to attend a class supper.
