THERE has been a good deal of noise in the Yard during the last few evenings, - more than was necessary perhaps, and certainly more than was agreeable. We do not believe that the Yard is the proper place for select field meetings of the H. A. A., because the applause of the spectators is distracting to hard workers who wish to keep their windows open. We have no high opinion of the man who plays on his piano out of hours with a free use of the loud pedal, and we think no punishment severe enough for one who makes a practice of shouting to a friend in the fourth story.
