WE heartily indorse the views of the Advocate in regard to printing in the Catalogue the names of the holders of "Scholarships." Such a course will give an uncalled-for publicity to the names, and the fact that it will gratify the curiosity of a few is no reason for adopting it. The matter is a delicate one, and suggests the need of rewards for scholarship itself, in addition to the present general provision for pecuniary aid. If the Faculty persist in the course upon which they have determined, we may expect to find the names of those who hold "scholarships" in the next Harvard Index.
