THERE is one improvement, however, which should be made immediately; the marks assigned to each forensic should be announced. We do not see what objection there could be to doing this, and the advantages would be obvious. A student could then tell the relation of his own forensics to each other, and to those of other men. But if, for some inscrutable reason, this favor cannot be granted, the separate marks given to each forensic should at least be announced when the last forensic has been examined, and not merely the average on all. We make this request with the more confidence, since the instructor has shown himself willing to give as much benefit as he can to those who enjoy his instructions.
