THE following resolutions have been passed by the class of '77:-
Whereas, it has pleased Almighty God to take from us our friend and classmate Charles Jamison Gardner:
Resolved, That we tender our heartfelt sympathy to his parents and relatives in this their great bereavement.
Resolved, That we sincerely mourn the loss of one who, by his manly character and his fidelity to duty, by his kindly disposition and his unassuming worth, won, in the brief time he was with us, the respect and friendship of all whose privilege it was to know him.
Resolved, That these resolutions be printed in the Boston Daily Advertiser and the College papers, and a copy sent to his parents and relatives.
