A WORD to those who have been assessed, and wish to vote at the coming election: if any one has been refused registration by the city clerk, he may bring his case before the Board of Aldermen, who have the final decision in the matter, on Saturday, Monday, or Tuesday evenings next. The registration list will close at ten o'clock Tuesday evening, the 29th, and it is of course understood that no one can vote unless his name is on the list. The matter is worth some trouble, and we hope that none will fail to present themselves before the Aldermen, if they have received a final refusal from the city clerk. The clerk, by the way, has had a consultation with Professor Thayer, of the Law School, and has lately modified some of his former decisions.
