A LARGE number of students enjoy reading their evening as well as their morning papers, but the amount of gaslight furnished at Memorial is just large enough to encourage one to run the risk of injuring his eyes. To turn the gas on a trifle more would increase the expense only in a slight degree, while such action would redound to the credit of the Director who should propose it, and of the head-waiter who should carry it out.
