Columbia.- Seventy-nine has a Euchre Club, which is negotiating with '79 of Yale for a match.
- A new society, whose aim is selectness, is being organized in the School of Mines. Its name will be the Beta Sigma Fraternity, and its maximum membership ten.
Cornell.- Colonel T. W. Higginson will be the leading orator of Commencement week.
- Rev. James Freeman Clarke will deliver the Baccalaureate sermon before the Senior class on Sunday, June 17.
- By order of the Board of Directors aspirants for the base ball nine will practise every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon at 2.30. Since boating is on the decline, base-ball and foot-ball are to be made the specialties for the coming season.
