A LIST of officers elected by the Senior Class at the meeting on Monday is published in another column. To this list Seventy-Eight points with complacent pride. Class dissension has vanished into thin air. Seventy-Eight, in unison and peace, restores dear, happy Class Day at Harvard, and good-will reigns supreme. Of the fifteen officers, eight were unanimously elected by acclamation; the seven others give universal satisfaction. The harmonious, open election has exemplified the high principle that the interests of the Class are superior to the interests of societies. For the service that Seventy-Eight has done in thus firmly re-establishing Class Day, she deserves the thanks, not only of those connected with the College, but especially of those of the gentler sex who hope to experience on this most famous day at Harvard as much pleasure as they always impart.
