As all students, however well they may have worked during the term, are obliged to do a great deal of "grinding" for the Annuals, it is very important that the dates of the different examinations should be fixed as early as possible, in order that students may know just how much time they will have to spend on each subject after the recitations have been suspended. In case two or more examinations are fixed for successive days, it is necessary that it should be known some time beforehand, in order that students may study up such subjects before the close of recitations and not find themselves suddenly with several examinations on their hands without the time to prepare them properly. It was therefore with much satisfaction that we saw a list of the coming examinations posted last week on the bulletin board, and the Faculty will do much for the convenience of all students if the corrected list with dates is posted before long.

Last term a number of students were suddenly apprised that they would have several successive examinations before a week was over, and there being no time for proper preparation, low marks and much dissatisfaction was the result.
