THE Harvard Art Club has passed a resolution admitting any student of the University, upon payment of one dollar per term, to all the privileges of the Club except the power of voting and the right of attendance at official meetings.

In accordance with this resolution, the room of the club, No. 19 Grays' Hall, will probably be thrown open within a short time to such students as may wish to subscribe. In the room, which will be open day and evening, will be found numerous books of reference on artistic subjects, and particularly upon subjects connected with the Fine Arts courses in college. Among other works which have been lent to the Club are the folio History of Athens, by Stuart and Revet, and Penrose's Principles of Athenian Architecture. In addition to these books of reference several of the leading Art journals will be found in the rooms, such as the Portfolio, L'Art, and the Gazette des Beaux Arts.

The money subscribed in accordance with this plan will be devoted to subscriptions to art journals, and in general to the collection of a library of reference for students of art. At the same time the co-operation of a certain number of students is necessary to carry out this plan, and in order to ascertain if it be practicable, all those who would like to subscribe are requested to send their names, as soon as possible, to Barrett Wen-dell, 9 Linden Street.
