Too much cannot be said of the courtesy and politeness paid the Nine by the Princeton men. At no time during the game did they allow an opportunity to slip of applauding any good plays we made, and of silencing any attempt on the part of those not connected with the college from cheering our errors. Their politeness in showing us their beautiful buildings and grounds, and their good-natured manner of taking their defeat, only served to promote the good feeling between Princeton and Harvard, and we take this occasion of offering, through these columns, our most hearty thanks to them for all their kindness. Let us all show them, at the time of their visit here, that Harvard cannot only appreciate kind treatment and gentlemanly conduct, but also knows well how to reciprocate it.
