Not in years has the football season begun with brighter promise or with a greater problem. The squad offers an unusual wealth of material, and the coaching staff is practically unchanged. The problem is to turn out another winning team with the best results to players and University alike. Coach Haughton and his assistants deserve the heartiest support and confidence in their efforts to make the season which opens today as brilliant as that of 1908.
