Student Predicts Big News; Berlin Writhes in Ignorance

When announcement of "big news at 10 o'clock tonight" was first made last Tuesday, speculators predicted everything from the hanging of Hitler to the rationing of butter in Worcester to be revealed when the much anticipated tidings were published. But not even the most sought after broker on the New York Stock Exchange could have done better than the Dunster House student who, with no previous knowledge of the event, came as close to quoting the United Press release of the story as did the CRIMSON, only he made his prediction several hours before the story was made known, he insists.

The text of his forecast follows:

"Roosevelt, Churchill, Eden, Eisenhower, Montgomery and others were in Africa tonight. Generals de Gaulle and Giraud have come to terms as a result of the meeting."
