The annual Harvard interscholastic tennis tournament will be held tomorrow and Saturday at the Jarvis courts. Andover and Loomis Institute, the teams that tied for top honors last year, have both lost the bulk of their strength. J. F. Whitbeck '27 from Loomis was last year's individual winner.
Newton High School is rated as a strong contender for this year's trophy. The suburban school won the Yale Interscholastic last week, and has two likely contenders for individual honors, Turner, who won at Yale, and Johnson, who plays No. 1, on the team, ahead of Turner.
Exeter also has a strong team. Arthur Ingraham Jr., brother of the University captain-elect is the Exonians' candidates for the individual cup.
The management hopes to finish all except the semi-final and final rounds tomorrow.
