In addition to changes and realignment of courses, certain of them have received new numbering in the 1936-37 announcement pamphlet. History 2, for instance, has suddenly turned into History 32.

All courses in English and American Literature have been renumbered with the exception of English 23--Shakspere, English 27--The Elizabethan Dramatists.
German 26a--the Romantic Movement--has become German 10.
German 4--Goethe--has become German 15.
German 28--Literature since 1900--has become German 21.
German 12a--Introduction to Historical Linguistics--has become German 130.
German 15--Old High German--has become German 135.
German 21--History of the Language--has become German 150.
Scandinavian 3--Swedish--has become Scandinavian 21.
Slavic 4--Introduction to Russian Literature and Culture--has become Slavic 1.
Slavic 1a--Elementary Russian--has become Slavic 10.
Slavic 1b--Classic Russian Literature--has become Slavic 11.
Slavic 2b--Polish--has become Slavic 30.
Fine Arts 1g--Oriental Art--has become Fine Arts G.
All courses in the Theory of Music have been renumbered.
Music 4b--French from 1871--has become 10a.
Engineering Science 2--Descriptive Geometry, etc.--has become Fine Arts 2b.
Engineering Science 7c--Kinematics--has become Engin. Sci. 6a.
Engineering Science 5a--Statics--has become Engin. Sci. 7a.
Engineering Science 10--Principles of Metallurgy--has become Engin. Sci. 10a.
