At a meeting of the candidates for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science, in Harvard 3 yesterday afternoon, the following committee was appointed to make arrangements for Commencement and to call another meeting, about May 1, at which nominations for marshal will be presented: J. M. Adams 4G., H. L. Gray 5G., and D. P. Lockwood 4G. J. S. Galbraith 3G. acted as chairman.
The candidates for the degrees of Master of Arts and Master of Science, met in Harvard 1. J. Weare 1G. acted as chairman, and the following committee was appointed to make nominations for marshal and for a committee to regulate Commencement matters: H. P. Arnold 1G., J. R. P. French 1G., G. A. Moriarty 1G., and E. J. Saunders 2G. This committee will meet some time early next week to make nominations and to arrange for the next meeting, when elections will take place.
