ALERT COLBY NINE TRIMS LISTLESS CRIMSON 9 TO 7

BIG GREEN RECENT VICTORS OVER TIGERS, 12 TO 1

An alert Colby baseball team came down from Maine yesterday and took a disconsolate Crimson aggregation into camp 9 to 7. It was the second time this week that the Harvard, nine has kicked away a contest and its prospects for this Saturday's game with Dartmouth, recent recent victor over Princeton by 12 to 1 are poor.

Listless Playing

The game was a blow to Crimson backers who had hoped to see a change of heart with Des Roches back in the lineup. The team played listlessly, however; inexcusable boners, and Colby's determination to stay on top were deciding factors.

Despite a total of fifteen hits, the Crimson batters showed poorly and might have fared worse except for an injury to Robertson, the starting Colby flinger, who held them scoreless until he suffered a split finger in the fifth.
