1. What’s Up, Doc?
Since it’s far too early in the semester to actually work, set aside your books and modern procrastination techniques (read: facebook.com) and return to our generation’s classic pastime: cartoons. Bask in nostalgia for Saturday mornings past by checking out the Brattle Theater’s Twelfth Annual Bugs Bunny Film Festival. It’s all there: carrots, Elmer Fudd, and one unbeatable bunny.

2. Everything is Funnier When You’re Drunk
Only good things can come from mixing hard liquor with humor, so hop on the T and head to the Comedy Connection for The Jameson Irish Whiskey Comedy Tour, featuring Jeff Caldwell, Nick Griffin, Danny Bevins and Ralph Harris. Smuggle in a flask if you’re under 21.

3. With Strings Attached
In case Valentine’s Day has left you feeling down on love, cheer yourself up by stepping back and watching other couples bicker for a while—amuse yourself even further with the fact that they are puppets. Watch celebrated puppeteer Paul Vincent Davis perform “Battle of the Sexes” and other sketches at The Puppet Showplace, and revel in the amusement of failed puppet love.

4. Fun Actually
For fun and entertainment without having to leave the Yard and brave the elements, head to Sanders Theatres for Jam Actually, the Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones concert. To make it a theme night, rent Love Actually on the way home.

5. Rock the Catwalk
If you feel like your requisite hoodie and Uggs are getting kind of drab, look to the center of the fashion world for inspiration on how to dress to impress and catch the eye of your hot TF. Check out the MFA’s Fashion Show: Paris Collections 2006 to see how it’s done right. Students get a 10% discount at the gift shop, so grab a Dior scarf at entirely reasonable prices while you’re there.
