On Monday, April 18, the University Band will begin its series of six recess concerts. Before leaving Boston two concerts will be given, one at Arlington on Monday, under the auspices of the Wellesley Endowment Fund Committee, and the other Tuesday morning on the Cambridge Common.
Tuesday the regular tour will begin, including four stops for concerts; one in Worcester Tuesday evening for the benefit of the Radcliffe Endowment fund; one in Springfield on Wednesday under the auspices of the Connecticut Valley Harvard Club; one in Albany for the Harvard Club of Albany on Thursday; and the last on the return trip from New York, Sunday evening on the Fall River Line boat.
Each concert will be followed by dancing, music for which will be furnished by Reinherz Orchestra and the University Specialty orchestra. Specialty acts by W. L. Olmsted '22, and S. B. Clark '22 and songs by the new quartet as well as a piccolo solo by W. F. Manning '22 will have a large part in the program.
